"SAP", part of Maiden LA, opened as a group exhibition of Sculpture, Animation and Painting. On day one, each artist drew from a hat the name of one of the other artists. Over the course of September, the artists are creating new work as inspired or informed by the artist whose name they drew. As they are made, the new works will be added to the exhibition (both online an in the physical space). The show will culminate in a physically-distanced salon-style discussion between the artists around the experience of exploring each other’s mediums, themes and intentions.
